auf meiner Website deutschland-im-mittelalter.de habe ich Matomo installiert. Das Problem ist, dass jeder Seitenaufruf doppelt gezählt wird.
Ich hab also bei “Seitenansichten” in Matomo entweder 2 stehen oder 4 oder 6. Bei anderen war das Problem, dass Suche und PageView getrackt wurden. Ich tracke aber im Moment keine Suche.

I consider giving web application write access to it’s own files as fundamentaly broken from security perspective - that’s just too high risk I’m not willing to accept.
But I would also like to have application up-to-date. Right now, when there is an update I log into server, temporarily set those permissions, do update and remove them. Which is lot of unnecessary manual work.
Is there some way I can run those updates from command line, launched from cron?

New to Matomo, but really enjoying it. I’m trying to pull the historical analytics from my GA account into Matomo (hoping to “cut the cord” a little). I’ve set up the OAuth credentials properly and have been able to create two importing tasks, however:
From one of my tasks:
errored
Error message: Error on day 2016-08-23, Failed to reach GA after 30 attempts. Restart the import later.
These errors are unexpected and will likely continue every time you run the import on this day. To resolve this issue, please ask on the forums. If you can provide access to your GA account to a member of Matomo’s support team it will provide a quicker resolution.
I noted that the link to the “forums” is not correct (has an “s” – this website is forum.matomo.org), but if someone could point me in a direction for finding out more about it, I will be very appreciative. This isn’t critical, but I’m curious about getting it to work in order to keep some of the histories.
OTHER INFO: I’ve increased the max_execution_time and the max_input_time in PHP to accommodate longer running scripts. I’ve also enabled mysqli.allow_local_infile (On) in the php.ini file.
Lastly, the console of my site reports no warnings or errors – the troubleshooting guides for setting up the site were excellent and I was able to resolve all the problems.
FINAL THOUGHT: Is there a specific port in the firewall of my server that needs to be opened for this to work properly? Right now I’ve got 443 and 80 open. Everything else is closed.

I know that when a user with view permission creates a segment, this segment will only be seen by the user himself and the superuser and maybe the admin. This is a great feature when there are many users interested in different segments and want to keep their segment apart even if the total data of 1 idsite is still accessible to everybody.
However, this is not available for goals and funnels. One of my clients is interested in 3 URLs that are tracked on one matomo site and asked me to build 1 goal for each of these URLs, and also to create a funnel on the top of these goals. Is there any way to restrict the view to these goals and make them available only for certain users?

GeoIP is display correct the name (North Macedonia) but Matomo shows as Macedonia

I have made the necessary changes to both javascript tracking and using the image so I can view bot traffic, but I have no idea where to find the statistics. Is there a special widget for this or is it included in a widget that has other traffic included? If so, which one? Thanks!

habe Segment erstellt.
Seitenurl enthält “beispieltext-”
Möchte nur URLs filtern, die “beispieltext-” enthalten.
In der Ergebnisliste sind aber auch jede Menge URLs wie “kontakt” “Impressum” die den definierten String garantiert NICHT enthalten.
Was ist falsch?

I just installed a clean Matomo on my server. At first everything works fine but suddenly, I think after relogin, it displays in various reports only no data for this report, except for real time data which still works.

I’m using Strato Webspace for hosting so I can’t configure a crontab and I think for two files I don’t need external auto archive
I also deactivated MySQL Infile and query optimization.
Previously I had some Permission errors.

But i got this error. In an other Link Click tag i use the click element URL, but not on this. Is it a problem, if an other link click trigger wants to check the click url? How can i prevent this?

Das möchten wir dann pro Seite sehen:
Link 1: "Klicke hier" 151 mal geklickt
Link 2: "Download" 12 mal geklickt
Link 3: "<Text>" 124 mal geklickt

Ich habe einen Event-Trigger und Tag eingerichtet, der nun alle Links aufzeichnet aber wie sehe ich es übersichtlich pro Page welcher Link wie oft geklickt wurde?

I’m calling this URL every 5 minutes: https://$baseurl/?module=API&token_auth=$token&method=Live.getCounters&idSite=2&lastMinutes=10&format=json
Somehow, the “visitors” measure is always twice as high as it should be when the URL is called between 00:00 AM and 00:10 AM. This always happened, so I can reproduce it at that timeframe.
I’m using Matomo 3.14.0 on Ubuntu 18.04, on-premise.
Any thoughts?
