I tried to create new report and after naming it I I used report type Table and selected from Add dimension selected Events and Events URL. And entered the above url.
I clicked on Review Report and got No Data.
Tell me whet I went wrong.

I am wondering if there is a way to get the equivalent of the audience demographics and interest insights that are found in GA. whether it be with an add on or specific settings doesn’t matter. I would just like to be able to completely cut the cord from google.

I installed Matomo Wordpress Plugin for my page (I’m so happy. It’s so easy to use 
). We are 5 people working for our startup and it’s quite a low frequency website. I’d like to not track our clients (desktops, mobiles). From my research it basically boils down to turn on the opt-out feature and use it on our devices. Would you agree that this is the best option? I also thought that it might be possible to exclude logged in Wordpress users but I couldn’t find documentation how to do it.
It would be great if somebody can help me out with some best-practice advice.

Hallo Leute,
ich benutze für meine WordPress Seite sowohl Matomo als Plugin als auch CookieFirst. Und CookieFirst bietet wohl die Möglichkeit Matomo direkt zu verwalten. CookieFirst will aber wie in dem Bild zu sehen Angaben zur Matomo-Standort-Id (was zur Hölle ist das?) und die URL von Matomo, was sehr unspezifisch ist, da ich mich frage, heißt das jetzt das Dashboard oder noch die Zusammenfassung in WordPress also https://domain.de/wp-admin/admin.php?page=matomo-summary ?
Weiß da jemand bescheid?

I just increased the maximum number of rows for content names report, because I am tracking a lot of content.
Is there anyway I can reprocess the reports of the last months? I only want to reprocess the content names report.

ich interessiere mich für Matomo und bitte um Unterstützung bei meinen ersten Schritten.
Matomo soll auf meiner Infrastruktur eingesetzt werden. Daher lerne ich vermutlich am meisten, wenn ich mit einer Person direkt zusammenarbeite und wir uns als Tandem meinen Aufgaben widmen.
Diese Unterstützung muss nicht kostenlos erfolgen. Schließlich gebe ich auch im echten Leben als Dankeschön ein Mittagessen oder was anderes aus ;-).
Aufgabenstellung: Eine bereits live gegangene Website soll nachträglich erfasst werden.
Die access.log-Dateien liegen zusammengeführt vor und werden mit folgendem Kommando chronologisch aufsteigend sortiert:
sort -t ' ' -k 4.9,4.12n -k 4.5,4.7M -k 4.2,4.3n -k 4.14,4.15n -k 4.17,4.18n -k 4.20,4.21n domain.log > tmp mv tmp domain.log
Mit welchem Werkzeug bekomme ich die Daten importiert?
Kann ich bei einer lokalen Installation auch die REST API nutzen, um barrierefreie Statistiken zu erstellen?

Hi, I have installed matomo for a high traffic website and also am using only the matomo tag manager code in my website. I followed https://peertube.floss-marketing-school.com/videos/watch/2e9c81d5-3f4b-4cdf-9959-34d52863b1d6 in setting up the user id. I have created a data layer as uid and associated with the custom variable. In my site, i’ll be getting a id for each unique user in the body tag.I dont have login/logout functionality.So i am tracking users based on this id.

Here 1000 is the id for a unique user.If another user comes, another new id will be generated.If the user returns, already generated id for that user will be used. So, I have added this 4 lines of code in the body part of all pages. But the user id is getting mapped only for 50% of the users.
Is there any other way to do this? Thanks in advance

Hey Hallo,
ich bin ganz neu und habe ein Problem bei der Installation von Matomo auf meinem eigenen Webserver. Immer wenn ich meine Subdomain aufrufe, wo die Daten liegen home/www/matomo.example.de werde ich auf den Webspace Admin Bereich meines Hosters weitergeleitet, um einen Login auszuführen, der mich nicht weiterbringt. Kann mir bitte jemand helfen?
Ich verzweifle noch 
Ich habe schon bestimmt 6 mal das ganze wiederholt. Neue Subdomain, Daten über FileZilla auf den Server und und und… 
Nicht einmal startet die Installation von Matomo

Normally if I fetch a report with range=week for example, I get the sum_daily_nb_uniq_visitors metric. But in our custom reports, we get no metric for unique visitors without using range=day.
Is this a known limitation of custom reports, or are we doing it wrong on our end?
“Unique visitors” is included as a metric in the reports in question, and we do get nb_uniq_visitors for individual days. I don’t get why the sum is being left out of weekly reports…?

Was am Titel dieses Posts vielleicht seltsam erscheinen mag, ist zumindest für mich ein ernstes Problem. Gemeint ist die Auflösung der graphischen Darstellung, wenn die Darstellung als Linie gewählt wurde und die Y-Achse so deutlich tiefer ausfällt als die Macher von Matomo das vorhersehen konnten.
Konkret trifft das zu, wenn man sich unter Besucher -> Übersicht den Graphen für die durchschnittliche Generierungszeit anzeigen lässt. Die X-Achse wird bei dieser Ansicht offenbar nicht dynamisch an den Werten angepasst und hier offenbar hard codiert die Skala auf 2 Sekunden festgelegt wurde. Das ist zumindest für mich fatal, weil meine durchschnittliche Generierungszeit 2 Stellen hinterm Komma ist, also roundabout 0,08 Sekunden. Der Graph besteht quasi nur aus 1 geraden Linie unmittelbar über der Grundlinie, sodass man wegen der geringen Auflösung Schwankungen überhaupt nicht erkennen kann.
Was sich wie ein kosmetisches Übel lesen mag, hat aber Auswirkungen, weil man einem Kunden so nicht zeigen kann, was sich an der Ladezeit verändert hat. Es wäre deswegen schön, wenn sich die Auflösung der Graphen so dynamisch verändern würde, wie das auch sonst ist.
