As you may have noticed that the Long Tern Support of Piwik 2 recently ran out. If you haven’t already I’d recommend you to upgrade soon.

Unfortunately there are still some plugins left that only support Piwik 2, mostly because they aren’t maintained anymore. It would be a pity to lose those useful additions to the core functionality, but thanks to being Open Source they can live on.

Types:

Probably don't support Matomo 3: those plugins don’t specify the supported versions which isn’t supported for quite some time.

Possibly support Matomo 3: maybe those plugins already work fine and just need to specify this in the plugin.json.

That’s great! After testing if the plugin is broken in the latest Matomo, you should contact the author, maybe they are still working on the plugin.
If you want to fix it, look into the upgrading documentation. When you are running across some issues, you can always ask on this forum.

When you have issued a pull request to the original repository, but still haven’t received an response from the original author, you can fork the repository and add it as a new plugin to the marketplace. (But pay attention to the license of the plugin)
