Drop of number of visits

for some reasons, although figure for number of actions is more or less consistent with the previous months, the figure for number of visits dramatically dropped in the last two months. I am sure that the number of visits is almost the same but for some reasons piwik is not capturing them as it used to do in the past months. Did something change at the beginning of March? Do you have any idea of what could be done to fix the problem?
