Suivi des visites. Comptabilise uniquement les utilisateurs connectées à l'interface d'administration
Bonjour,
Nous avons installé Matomo pour suivre les utilisateur qui utilise nos cartographie en ligne. il existe un module développer par buisness-geographic pour intégrer le suivi des utilisateurs ou l’on doit indiquer l’ID et la page d’administration de MATOMO.
L’ensemble de nos test ne sont pas concluant. j’arrive bien a suivre un utilisateur mais pour cela il doit s’être connecté au module d’administration. Si ce n’est pas le cas aucune trace n’apparait sur le suivi des utilisateurs.
Pour vérifier cela j’ai essayé de me connecter avec tous les navigateurs (Chrome / IE / Opera / Mozzilla ) sur d’autres PC / mobile android et tant que je ne me connecte pas à l’interface de matotmo XXXX/matomo, les visites ne sont pas comptabilisées.
Pour information le lien de connexion à la console d’administration est une adresse_ip/matomo
Nous n’utilisons pas le code javascript mais un module implémentée dans notre cartagoraphie développé pour comptabilisé les visites sur matomo
Savez-vous d’où cela peut provenir au niveau des configurations ?

Embedding tracking js in a function
Good day everyone,
I am trying to setup matomo tracker with my consent banner: when the consent is given, the tracking code is executed and the user is tracked immediately so I don’t lose people who only connect to one page.
To do so, I use js injector on drupal/ Here’s my js code:

However I have a problem: the js is loaded by the client but I never see any request to my matomo.php.
Moreover, no cookie is given to the user.
If I only user the js code without all the functions, I am correctly tracked.
Can you tell if I’m not doing something right ?

Goal-Tracking doesn't work: _paq not defined
I’m trying to track a goal, therefore i use the following code:

My console says _paq not defined, but when I add the tracking code to my header the console says:

Downloads not working for period=month
Hello,
I have an issue with my API call for Actions.getDownload method on 3.13.4 version.
When I request with period=day, I get a response with few hits.
When I change period=month and all other parameters are same, I receive response as no hits.
Any pointers on this is much appreciated.

Matomo Not Working after full removal/reinstall 2020
Hi all,
I’ve been using Matomo/piwik since about 2012 as a yearly paying/donating user. I have it installed on JustHost.
I started experiencing trouble with goal tracking last year, (presumably after a JustHost server update) but seemed to “fix” it by dropping the “https://” off my Goal tracking URLs.
By “fix”, I mean it worked part of the time: sometimes errors would show, so I would refresh the widget several times until the errors disappeared. Last week, the same errors started appearing on the “Visits Over Time” widget, and never recovered.
I deleted the entire install of Matomo, including my database, and re-installed with a fresh new database, and I am still getting the same errors.
When I try to run a System Check, I get this fatal error:
The following error just broke Matomo (v3.13.6):
Illegal length modifier specified ‘f’ in s[np]printf call
in /home3/whalenw1/public_html/matomostats/vendor/twig/twig/src/Cache/FilesystemCache.php line 65
Can anyone please help? I have no idea how to go about fixing this.

Traffic Statistics for a specific subpage | Statistik für eine spezifische unterseite

erstmal danke für das tolle Matomo system. Ich kannte nur Piwik aus den Anfängen der Software. In den letzten Jahren ist den Entwicklern hier ein großer Sprung gelungen.
Nun aber zu meiner Frage. Wie bekomme ich den spezifischen Taffic einer URL heraus?
Beispiel, aus den Gesamtlogs von Matomo möchte ich den Traffic nur für die URL https://beispiel.com/unterseite.html sehen.
Gerne auch detailierte Informationen welche Seiten sie vorher und nachher angeschaut haben.

first of all thanks for the great Matomo system. I only knew Piwik from the early days of the software. In the last years the developers have made a big leap forward.
But now to my question. How do I get the specific taffic of a URL?
Example, from the overall Matomo logs I want to see the traffic only for the URL https://beispiel.com/unterseite.html.
I would also like to see detailed information about which pages you have looked at before and after.

Matomo manual update issue, stuck in database upgrade
Hi Team,
we tried to update Matomo(Piwik) through manual three steps update after facing so many issue and followed many articles to resolve it but now stuck in database update issue.
" Your Matomo codebase is running the old version 3.13.5 and we have detected that your Matomo Database has already been upgraded to the newer version 3.13.6. Maybe your Matomo administrators are currently finishing the upgrade process. Please try again in a few minutes. If you still have this issue please contact your Matomo administrator for assistance."
can anyone from team help me on this? also attached snapshot for same with reference links

Tag manager disappeared in a multi-server installation
What is the proper way to install tag manager in a multi server configuration. Is there any documentation about this? enabling the tag manager plugin in both servers is not enough. please help

Matomo cannot recognize Country info in Chinese?
Hello:
I’m a beginner in Matomo.
I’m now using HTTP Server Module to get visitors’ location.
My problem is:
Even though I could see the right location info(both city and country) from the setting panel like this:
The Country info in the Visits Log is unknown, however, the City info works well.
Anyone could help? Thank you very much.

Configuration warnings are not reliable
On a configuration check, I have shell_exec to be enabled and a couple of files to be deleted.
My host has disabled PHP-FPM and the shell_exec is now ok, but I don’t think that was the right procedure. Also because it was fine on installation and I wonder why it isn’t now. Any advice?
The files to be deleted are error_log + info.php + matomo-archive-output.log, which also sound like they should not be deleted.
So why is Matomo giving me these wrong warnings?

Custom Dimensions duplicated across events
Hello,
My team is currently using custom dimensions on Matomo and there is an issue where Matomo shows the custom dimension(s) of previous events in a current event.
For example, when a user performs an action we want to track (which does not have any custom dimensions), on Matomo when we view the event we see the event showing custom dimensions of previous events which is a bit weird.
So I want to ask the following questions:

Are these custom dimensions duplicated across events? (including events that have no custom dimensions) Because if we want to generate reports we are concerned that the numbers we would see in Matomo won’t be a reflection of true user behaviour.

Is there a way to turn off this behaviour?

Falsche Zahlen nach Update
Hallo,
Ich habe heute im admin Bereich meines Webservers auf php 7.4.3 geupdated.
Die Folge war, das ich im Wordpress Plugin “WP-Piwik” keine Daten mehr angezeigt bekomme.
Leider komme ich in den Admin Bereich von matamo auch nicht mehr rein…es erscheinen ein paar Fehlermeldungen
Also wieder zurück zu php 5.irgendwas. Dann ein Update von matamo, dann wieder auf php 7.4.
Nun läuft alles scheinbar wieder, ausser das mir die Zahl der Besucher und Pageviews nur ca 1/10 der bis dahin ermittelten Zahlen beträgt.
Wo kann man da ansetzen?
